GREYHOUND

The pub was bought by a family run pub company Oak Taverns Ltd who are based in Oxfordshire and it is now a freehouse.

The pub is a former ferryman’s cottage, with wooden beams, open fires and a warm and friendly welcome. A small meeting/function room off the main bar can be booked for small parties or clubs, and the large garden to the rear provides plenty of seating including a covered area to shelter from the rain.

Up to four cask-conditioned beers are served, a decent gin and wine selection and craft lagers.

The pub doesn’t serve food but pop-up street food vendors, such as pizzas, are available occasionally at the weekend.
